The corn tortillas are made fresh every day . They are made in the back of the store And sell very fast . They also have fresh steaks Queso
Best tortillas ever! They are always hot and ready usually their is a line to get tortillas on weekends but line goes by so fast. Service is nice everyone is very welcoming I've came here for years and never fails I specially come here for tortillas
Hand down the nest place for home made tortillas. It was drive for me to W. Chula, but so worth it. This has become my weekly stop for yummy corn tortillas. In case you ever come the tortillas are on your right hand side when you walk in. They are stored in a lunch cooler depending on the amount of tortillas you want. They have super duper big packs, large or small bags for myself. The store alone is very small, but has lots to offer if you want to make a quick shopping stop. Basic grocery stuff like eggs, milk, vegetables and even toilet paper. In the back there's a butcher with lots of meats and cold cuts. Plenty of parking in the back as well!
I love the atmosphere. All of the workers are so helpful and nice. It makes shopping a lot easier.

Sawaya is Quick and very convenient! Right off broadway on a good location. Good selection of goodies, dont forget they make fresh tortillas .
A perfect business has the same business hours everyday! I love that they open so early on weekends and that his place is a walking distance from my home. They have great customer service and freshly made corn tortillas everyday. I would in the future love to see this small store grow and hopefully see a greater selection of fruits/veggies (organic preferably) and maybe barrels of dry foods like oatmeal, quinoa, beans and more.
